Rain, rain and more rain - - LIGHTNING and THUNDER.
Un-freakin'-believable . . .
*sigh* Welcome to Winter in Central Illinois . . . . .
------------------------------------------------
We had an unusual Winter experience this morning.
Yesterday, the temps climbed into the upper 30's. Overnight, as the air cooled a bit, it drew up a lot of the moisture from the melting snow, creating a heavy blanket of fog. As temps cooled down more, the fog froze, coating everything in crystal:

The bush next to our garage was beautiful:

All the trees and fields around our home were encased in crystal shells. Absolutely breathtaking.
Too bad it has to be so damn cold to be this beautiful!
